Frank Low Research Day award results listed

I wanted to thank everyone who participated in Frank Low Research Day to make it a success, especially all of the students, their mentors, faculty and staff who presented posters and/or platform presentations. Thanks to all of the judges who provided timely and fair reviews of the posters. Specific thanks go to Joshua Wynne for very thoughtful and insightful opening remarks; to Phyllis Johnson, VP for Research and Economic Development, who did a great job as chair of the morning research session; to our two invited speakers, Nancy Reame and Stefanie Jeffrey, who gave excellent talks; to Cindy Anderson, associate dean for Nursing, for working with us to involve the College of Nursing; and to Robin Miskimins, director of Research Development at Sanford School of Medicine in Sioux Falls, S.D., for taking the time to visit us and get a flavor of our research efforts at the SMHS. Hopefully her visit will lead to research collaborations between the two schools.

Finally, thanks to Joann Johnson, Dani Stramer, Diane Hillebrand, Beth Kliethermes and Julie Dahlman, who attended to all of the specifics required for this meeting to be a success.
