Audition Requirements
Brass/Woodwinds: Solo(s) and/or etude(s) demonstrating two contrasting styles.
Keyboard: Two contrasting works from different style periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century).  Memory is optional.
Percussion:  A solo in two of the three areas:  snare drum, timpani or mallets.
Strings: Solo(s) and/or etude(s) demonstrating two contrasting styles.  A solo might include a Concerto, Sonata, unaccompanied Bach or a concert etude.
Vocal: A solo selection with keyboard accompaniment (an art song or aria is recommended).
Sight-reading, tonal memory exercises or vocalises may also be requested.
