Volunteers sought for Martin Luther King Jr. events next week The Era Bell Thompson Cultural Center is seeking volunteers for the events that will be going on during Martin Luther King Jr. Week. The events are: Wednesday, Jan. 20: Cultural Potluck at the Era Bell Multicultural Center, 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22: Gospel Open Mic at the Loading Dock, 7 to 9 p.m. If you would like to volunteer for any of the events, please call the Era Bell Thompson Cultural Center at 777-4259.
