Special Denim Day for March of Dimes is Jan. 15 President Kelley has approved Friday, Jan. 15, as a Special Denim Day to benefit the March of Dimes. More than 1,000 babies are born prematurely in North Dakota every year and face huge health risks, both short and long term. Almost half of all premature births are unexplained. March of Dimes is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Wear your denim on Friday, Jan. 15, and give what you can afford to your Denim Day coordinator, and know you are helping to make a difference.
