New spring course on community colleges is available


Do you think you might teach or work at a community college? Are you interested in learning more about the diverse range of U.S. higher education institutions and students?

If so, consider enrolling in a new Spring 2010 course:
T&L 590: The Community Colleges - Students, Classes, and Organizations
spring 2010, 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays (on campus)

This course explores two-year and community college institutions. We will discuss the unique diversity of two-year college institutions types, missions, and students. In addition, the course will consider the history of two-year institutions and their students, the role they have played in U.S. higher education, their global growth, and their future.
