Join the English department Revels on Thursday Please join the department of English for a reception with Crystal Alberts, Kathy Dixon, Sandy Donaldson and Michelle Sauer from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in the J. Lloyd Stone House. We will celebrate four books and their authors, and we will have two special announcements from our faculty. Crystal Alberts, visiting assistant professor, has edited a collection of essays on renowned American writer William Gaddis. Sandra Donaldson, Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor, has completed a scholarly edition of Victorian poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s letters to her friend Isa Blagden. Kathleen Dixon, Fulbright Professor and director of Women Studies, has completed a comparative study of American and Eastern European television talk shows, and Michelle Sauer, associate professor, has published two books in medieval studies.
