Personal long-distance telephone calls on UND networks prohibited I would like to remind faculty and staff that the UND long distance telephone and cellular telephone service are to be used only for conducting University business. The policy states that use of the University long distance networks for personal calls or non-university business may result in disciplinary action, termination of employment and/or personal liability. State and federal regulations also do not permit this type of activity even if the employee reimburses the University. Use of the incoming toll-free 1-800 CALLUND line is for the recruiting and advising of prospective students. The toll-free line should not be used for long distance calls to the campus by anyone for any other purpose. On the UND campus, long-distance calling cards for personal use can be purchased either at Wilkerson, Memorial Union, or the Barnes & Noble Bookstore.
