Defensive Driving

This workshop is required by State Fleet for all UND employees who drive State Fleet vehicles on a regular (monthly) basis, received a traffic violation, or had an accident while operating a State Fleet vehicle. Employees are encouraged to bring a family member (spouse and/or dependents). This workshop may also reduce your North Dakota insurance premiums and could possibly remove points from your driving record. Presenter: Tom Brockling

A Mile or a Marathon: Your Guide to Running & Walking for Fitness in Grand Forks
Dec. 9, noon to 1 p.m. Brown Bag Lunch Session. Memorial Union, Badlands Room
This hour-long session will cover three main points: 1) Why running/walking is the best exercise for your body, wallet, and schedule, 2) The challenges and joys of running/walking for fitness in Grand Forks, and 3) Training programs and social support for your fitness goals. Information on a training group for the Fargo marathon, half marathon, and 5k will be discussed as a "New Year's" resolution goal. Presenter: Andrew Knight
