New Course offered in Entrepreneurship
The College of Business and Public Administration’s Department of Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce a new course offering for Spring semester 2010, available to all graduate and undergraduate students at UND, with instructor’s consent.
The special topics course, Entrepreneurial Communication (Entr 395), will be taught by LaRoyce Batchelor and will focus on creative persuasive communication tools that can be used by entrepreneurs, and also can be applied to any field and any major. Creative applied activities and assignments include an extensive brainstorming activity, a feasibility study of an idea selected, a "shark's tank" or "dragon's den" funding pitch, a trade show booth with hook, and guerilla marketing techniques. Entrepreneurial Communication can be applied in any venue to generate interest and excitement about ideas, products, services, or policies. This course is open to all UND graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in entrepreneurial communication and who want to be exposed to many valuable aspects of business and entrepreneurship.
