Register for American Indian Health Research conference
Mark your calendars for the seventh annual American Indian Health Research conference to be held Friday, Oct. 23, at the Canad Inns hotel and destination center in Grand Forks. To be a participant, complete the online registration form found at http://ruralhealth.und.edu/projects/aihrc/ by Tuesday, Oct. 6. Students are eligible to receive scholarships to cover conference costs.
The conference will feature Leo Nolan, senior policy analyst for external affairs of the Indian Health Service and former executive director of the Intradepartmental Council on Native American Affairs. With substantial experience in the area of Indian policy, Nolan will be speaking on “Health Care Reform and Indian Country.”
For the seventh year, the conference will provide opportunities to discuss research directions, partnerships, and collaboration in health research focusing on American Indians, specifically in the northern plains and North Dakota.
