UND to offer online bachelor's degree in communication

Starting this fall, UND will offer an online bachelor's degree in communication.

The online program is designed for students who are unable to complete a traditional, on-campus program. To graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, students must complete 125 credits, including general studies and liberal arts courses and at least 37 credits of Communication courses.

The online program may be completed on a part-time basis from anywhere in the world; students are not required to come to the UND campus at any time. UND will also be working to offer students living near the Bismarck area the option to participate in some face-to-face classes held on the Bismarck State College campus.

Upon completion of this degree, graduates may work in a diverse variety of settings including advertising, public relations, sales, broadcasting, print journalism, relationship counseling, ministry, law, politics and many others.

Tuition for the online degree is charged at the North Dakota resident rate regardless of where the student lives.

For more information about the degree, contact UND Online & Distance Education at www.distance.und.edu/degrees or 1-800-342-8230.
