Blues on the Red music series continues The Greater Grand Forks Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the second of the 2009 Blues on the Red music series Saturday, July 25, from 5 to 10 p.m., in Town Square, with two exciting acts from out of town: Cool Disposition (headliner) and Dee Miller Band (feature). The event, co-sponsored by the City of Grand Forks, the CVB and Canad Inns Destination Center, is in its second year, and with the addition of a third date and new entertainment, it promises to be even better than the inaugural year. The music will get rolling at 5 p.m. and last until 10 p.m., and admission is free to all. Lawn chairs welcome; concessions available. The last of the 2009 Blues series will be held August 22, with Jimi ‘Prime Time’ Smith with Barbara LeShoure as the headliner and Eddie Rickert & Blue Voodoo as the feature. The first Blues on the Red was held August 9, 2008, with well over 600 people convening in Town Square.
