Fourth annual Brain Bee winners announced
The Fourth Annual Northeast North Dakota Regional Brain Bee was held at the UND School of Medicine on April 23. The Brain Bee is a high school neuroscience competition (oral question and answer format), covering topics such as brain anatomy, development, function, disorders and treatments, and research advances.
Results: Phil Brockman, a homeschooled student, won first place. He will represent North Dakota in March 2010 at the National Brain Bee in Baltimore, Md. Second place went to Ken McGurran and Dixie Holland placed third.
