Open session for nursing dean candidate Sally Reel is May 12 Dr. Sally Reel, a candidate for Dean of Nursing, is currently a clinical professor, associate dean for academic practice, and coordinator/director of nurse practitioner specialties at the University of Arizona College of Nursing. Dr. Reel also directs the Arizona Area Health Education Centers Program. She will make a campus presentation on Tuesday, May 12, at 1:30 p.m. in the East Asian Room of the Chester Fritz Library. The presentation is free and open to the public. Dr. Reel has a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Virginia, an MSN from West Virginia University, and a BSN and ASN from Salem College in West Virginia. Before her move to Tucson in 2001, Dr. Reel was a clinical associate professor and project director/PI, at the Appalachian Rural Outreach Primary Care Nursing Center in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Marshall University, W.Va. -- Martha A.
