Proposals sought for Howard Hughes Medical Institute opportunity UND is eligible to submit a grant proposal to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Undergraduate Science Education Program. Each institution is restricted to one experimental and one core proposal. Letters of intent are due May 14. As time is short and we just found out about this opportunity, we are asking those interested to prepare a letter of intent and submit it to the Office of Research by noon, May 7. If we have only two parties interested, we can move forward with ease. If we have more, then the Office of Research will make a recommendation to the President as to who should go forward.
