Forensic science candidate seminar is April 23
At noon Thursday, April 23, in 141 Starcher Hall, Igor Ovtchinnikov will present a seminar as part of his interview for a position in the Forensic Science program. The title of his seminar is: "DNA Detective Work in the Heart of Asia: Integrating Population and Forensic Genetics." Dr. Ovtchinnikov is interested in the use of molecular methods in the analysis of forensic evidence. He has analyzed DNA from both recent and ancient sources.
