GER committee holds annual revalidation workshop The General Education Requirements (GER) Committee is holding its annual revalidation workshop Friday, Aug. 25, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the River Valley Room, Memorial Union. The event is designed to provide information to departments about the general education revalidation process and to facilitate communication between revalidating departments and the GER committee. Departments are currently revalidated on a three-year cycle. Departments up for revalidation in the 2006/2007 cycle include: Anthropology, Biology, Business Administration, Communication Sciences and Disorders, English, Geology, Honors, Indian Studies, Mechanical Engineering, Political Science, Recreation and Leisure Services, and Theatre Arts. Representatives from any department are welcome at the workshop, and those who are revalidating this year are especially encouraged to attend.
