Lead time increased for grant proposals The Division of Research is changing the policy for lead time for internal processing of grant proposals from three days prior to the due date to five days prior to the due date. This deadline is particularly important with federal electronic submissions. Submissions to Grants.gov have recently had numerous delays in submission, and these delays have almost caused a failure to meet submission deadlines. The change is effective immediately. In addition, please remember that two copies of the proposal in final form must be brought to GCA at the time the proposal is submitted for review. One of those copies will be retained in RD&C, the other will be returned to the PI for submission to the funding agency. -- John C.
