Studio One features how to make sushi and car racing on ice
Learn how to make sushi and about racing cars on ice on the next edition of Studio One. This week on Studio One, Chef Sandy MacGregor will demonstrate how to make sushi rolls, step-by-step. MacGregor will explain the ingredients in this traditional Japanese dish. She will also demonstrate techniques and tricks to make sushi look and taste just right.
Also, ice fishing isn’t the only thing you can do on frozen lakes in Minnesota. Several northern Minnesota racecar drivers have taken their ability to a new level by racing on frozen lakes for a good cause. Racer Joey Pederson explains why it wasn’t hard to change racing venues. “You’d think it would be a lot more slippery on ice than it is on dirt, but it’s actually pretty comparable,” says Pederson. Proceeds from this icy competition go to a youth group at a local church.
