Biology seminar is Friday Warren Burggren will present a seminar titled, "How Developing Animals Ignore Physiological Dogma," at noon Friday, Jan. 23, in 141 Starcher Hall. Dr. Burggren received his Ph.D. from the University of East Anglia in 1976. He is currently the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas, where he has been a faculty member since 1998. His research interests include developmental physiology at the organ system and organism levels, comparative animal physiology, environmental and ecological physiology, and evolution of respiratory and cardiovascular systems. All are invited to attend. The seminar is hosted by the Biology Department.
