University Within the University (U2) lists the following new classes.
Intro to Dreamweaver CS3
Feb. 23, 25, and 26, 8:30 to 11 a.m.
Prerequisite: Basic understanding of computers, mouse, and file saving and retrieving skills.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to design a Web site, explore the Dreamweaver environment, identify the HTML tags in the file, define a Web site, create and save a Web page, organize site files using the Files panel, create templates that help you develop multiple pages easily, add content to a Web page, identify the different types of links and create them for easy navigation, and upload a Web site. Radiation Safety
Jan. 27, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Room 5006
This course will cover basic principles of radiation protection. Course attendance is required for all individuals working with radioactive materials at the University of North Dakota. Topics discussed will include, but are not limited to, types of radiation, methods of protection, exposure monitoring, handling techniques, decontamination, security, and waste disposal. Legal Issues for Supervisors

Participants will identify the federal and state statutes that impact their roles, discuss UND policies and procedures in relation to federal and state law, and look at situations that may require legal consultation. Presenters: Desi Sporbert and Joy Johnson.
Lean Lifestyle
Jan.28, Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25. All classes will be held from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m., Memorial Union Presidents Room.
The Lean Lifestyle program is a new class being offered to the employees of the University of North Dakota who will meet weekly to support and educate one another on weight management issues. During the meetings, individuals will have the opportunity to learn about six of the most important changes that should be made in order to maintain successful lifestyle changes. We will have a 15-minute presentation by a speaker, a question-and-answer period and testimonials from employees. Presenters: Emily Spicer and Mallory Houck.
