Geography GIS Day is Nov. 19 The Geography Department will host several events for Geography Awareness Week through Nov. 21, and GIS Day, Nov. 19. There will be an information booth in the Memorial Union Thursday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and test your geographic knowledge. Geography students will also visit Valley Middle School Wednesday, Nov. 19, to host Geocaching events for students there. Finally, John Hudson of Northwestern University will give a public lecture at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in the Memorial Union Lecture Bowl.
