Farewell reception for Gary Johnson is Oct. 15 A farewell reception for Gary E. Johnson will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the Dakota Lounge, second floor, Memorial Union. Dr. Johnson has served UND in a number of capacities over the years, most recently as the interim vice president for research and the co-project director for North Dakota EPSCoR. He leaves UND Nov. 3 to assume the position of system vice president for research for the South Dakota Board of Regents.
