Astronomy public talk, telescope observing session is Oct. 7 The Department of Physics will hold an astronomy public talk and telescope observing session at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in 116 Witmer Hall. The talk, "Near-Earth Objects, Dinosaurs, and You," will be presented by Mike Gaffey (space studies). Following the talk, attendees will be given the opportunity to observe the night sky through a telescope (weather permitting).
