Aviation's fall safety seminar set for Sept. 18 The John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences will host a fall safety seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Chester Fritz Auditorium. The seminar, presented by David Wright, vice president of operations at the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Air Safety Foundation, will focus on mastering takeoffs and landings. Don’t miss this important safety seminar on takeoffs and landings for all pilots. This safety seminar meets the credit requirements for those airmen who are participating in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Wings Pilot Proficiency Program.
