Remembering Thomas Howard It is with regret we announce the death of Thomas Howard, professor emeritus of history, of Moorhead, Minn., formerly of Grand Forks. Howard died July 20, 2008, in his home under the care of hospice of the Red River Valley, as well as his family. He was 74. A service will be held at a later date.
