Fall football promotional schedule announced Fighting Sioux Sports Properties has announced the fall promotional schedule that includes all football in-game giveaways and schedule promo items. Highlighting the schedule is the limited release of promotional "We are 1. We are North Dakota" yard signs in support of Fighting Sioux athletics. The signs are available at the REA Sioux Shop and at the UND Athletic Department in the Hyslop Sports Center. The signs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The highly demanded all-sports calendars and fall pocket schedules will be available in the coming week at various locations around the community, as well as in the UND Athletic Department offices and at Ralph Engelstad Arena. This football season provides many opportunities for eager fans to get their hands on exclusive Sioux items. Below is a breakdown of the season's events. * Aug. 28 - UND vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville (military appreciation) First 2,500 fans through the doors will receive a Football Schedule Key Tag, presented by Choice Financial; all military personel will receive free admission with picture ID (good for up to three dependents); unlimited tickets for UND students with valid ID. * Sept. 6 - UND vs. St. Cloud State First 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a Football Schedule Poster, presented by Altru Health System; one UND student will win a semester of free tuition. * Sept. 13 - UND vs. Wisconsin-LaCrosse (Potato Bowl) First 2,500 people in the door receive a Fighting Sioux rally towel. * Oct. 18 - UND vs. Western Washington (Homecoming/Breast Cancer Awareness) Wear pink and get $3 off ticket purchased the day of the game at the Alerus Box Office. * Nov. 8 - UND vs. Southern Utah (Can the Cougars) First 750 people will receive Fighting Sioux mini-football; $5 off ticket purchased the day of the game at the Alerus Box Office with donation of a non-perishable food item.
