School supplies sought for low income families As school approaches the Salvation Army is collecting school supplies for low income families. Volunteer Bridge, 113 Memorial Union, is a drop-off location for these items at UND. All types of school supplies are needed and can include backpacks, notebooks, folders, crayons (large and small) rulers, markers, calculators, loose paper, scissors, three-ring binders, tissues, hand sanitizer and pencil boxes. School supplies are being collected for schools in Grand Forks, Grand Forks Air Force Base, Emerado, Larimore, Manvel, Midway, Northwood, Thompson and East Grand Forks. If you prefer to donate money for school supplies, you can send a check to the Salvation Army, 1600 University Ave. Please leave donated items at the Volunteer Bridge office, Room 113, Center for Student Involvement and Leadership in the Memorial Union.
