School of Medicine and Health Sciences names Hammami CIO
Nasser Hammami has been named to the new position of chief information officer (CIO) at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Hammami will be in charge of overall administration and management of the information resource units and will supervise future system design, development, and maintenance of all information technology products and services. A certified technology specialist and a UND graduate, Hammami earned a bachelor’s degree in biological and chemical sciences in 1994, a master’s degree in biochemistry in 1998, a master’s degree in clinical laboratory science in 2000, and a master’s degree in industrial technology in 2006.
