Alumni of American College of Norway and UND form Alumni Association Alumni of UND and the American College of Norway gathered at the United States Embassy garden in Oslo, Norway, to form the first Norwegian UND Alumni Association in Norway. There are more than 1,000 alumni who have graduated through the UND/ACN educational exchange system. Attending were UND Provost Greg Weisenstein; Steinar Opstad, founder of ACN; United States Ambassador Ben Whitney; and the leader of the American College of Norway, Krista Lauritzen. The ambassador initiated the meeting of graduates at the ambassador's residence and motivated the former students to form the Norwegian-based alumni association to support both ACN and UND. The meeting went successfully and the ties between UND and Norway are even stronger. The American College of Norway is located in Moss, Norway in Østfold County.
