Political Science and Public Administration hosts awards reception The Department of Political Science and Public Administration will host its first Recognition and Awards Reception in the James Ray Idea Lab at the Ina May Rude Entrepreneur Center, 4200 James Ray Drive, from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1. There will be a short program starting at 5 p.m. The program will include a number of highlights. First, we will recognize our graduating seniors, students completing their degrees in the Master of Public Administration program, departmental scholarship winners, and our students who have been invited to join Phi Beta Kappa. We will announce the new officers of the Public Affairs Club/Pi Sigma Alpha. For the first time the department will give an Outstanding Student Award to a graduating senior. Finally, we will celebrate some of the teaching, research and service achievements of our faculty.
