Jacquie Ferraro has winning photograph Jacquie Ferraro’s (languages) photograph, “Vista de Paz” of the International Peace Garden, was published by the International Library of Photography in the book titled “Images for the Ages,” 2007. After further review by the International Society of Photographers, “Vista de Paz” was selected as the winner of Outstanding Achievement in Amateur Photography, 2008. Ms. Ferraro was awarded a crystal trophy and a bronze commemorative medallion and her photo was showcased in front of a panel of photographers from around the world at the ISP’s convention and symposium on March 27-30 at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Previously, another Peace Garden photo by Ferraro won the 2006 North Dakota Governor’s photo contest and was featured on the North Dakota Department of Commerce/Tourism Division’s web site and in the visitors’ guide.
