Small Men's Ensemble charity concert is May 4 The UND Varsity Bachelors Club Small Mens Ensemble charity concert is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Christus Rex. The Bachelors club is a small men's choir I started a couple of years ago that sings traditional mens choir songs, as well as contemporary, and barbershop arrangements. We hold free concerts to raise money for local charities. While the concerts are free, a free will offering will be accepted. This semester we're raffling off about $600 in cool stuff, including a homemade, hand crafted table cloths, and a signed UND Fighting Sioux men's hockey jersey. We're also pretty funny, and when I say pretty funny, I mean really really funny. This year we're sponsoring the charity "Dru's Dive" to raise awareness about student violence. It's a really good cause, and it's run by Shelle Michaels and Dru Sjodin's mother. -- Dave Barta, Varsity Bachelor's Club.
