Proposed Flexcomp provision not implemented at UND This past week, NDPERS mailed out the summer edition of their newsletter called Perspectives. An article regarding an extension of the “Use It or Lose It” service period for the NDPERS Flexcomp Plan pertains only to the NDPERS Flexcomp Plan and not UND’s plan. It is an optional provision allowed by the IRS, however, this option will not be implemented at UND for the 2006 plan year. The last day to incur medical costs for the 2006 plan year will remain Dec. 31, 2006, as stated in the Plan Document.
