Starbucks kicks off University Children's Center fundraiser with book drive Running until the UCC annual fundraiser event on March 29, Starbucks on 32nd Ave. S. will give away a free tall coffee to anyone who brings in a new or gently used book. Literacy is the theme of this year’s UCC event, with the children creating books inspired by Rick Kupchella’s “Tell Me What We Did Today,” a celebration of a child’s day through literature and art. Honorary chairperson Adele Kupchella liked the idea of the fundraiser following the close of the Writer’s Conference.
