Disease prevention research seminar is Dec. 17 Edward Sauter, professor and vice chair for research, University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, Hugh E. Stephenson, Jr. Department of Surgery, Columbia, Mo., will present a research seminar titled “Translating Research Into Disease Prevention, Early Detection and Therapy,” from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, in the Reed T. Keller Auditorium, Room 1350, School of Medicine and Health Sciences. His presentation will include a description of his professional background and accomplishments, as well as some of his current research interests. Dr. Sauter is a candidate for the position of associate dean for research at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
