Reception to recognize NASPA rising stars A reception will be held in honor of Rebecca Slade, Memorial Union marketing coordinator, and Valerie Johnson, Memorial Union graduate assistant, in recognition of their recent awards from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). Slade received the New Professional Rising Star Award for North Dakota and Johnson received the Graduate Rising Star Award for North Dakota at the NASPA IV West Regional Conference held in Little Rock, Ark., Nov. 8-10. The campus community is invited to attend a reception at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Memorial Union Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.
