Master Chorale presents "A Scandinavian Christmas" Dec. 14 and 16
The Grand Forks Master Chorale will present two opportunities to enjoy "A Scandinavian
Christmas" this year. The first concert will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, followed by a second concert Sunday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks. The concerts will feature Christmas music from Norway, Sweden and Denmark, and post-concert receptions with Scandinavian goodies.
Advance tickets of $25 for a family, $12 for general admission, $8 for senior citizens, and $5 for students are available at the Chester Fritz Auditorium Box Office at 777-4090. At the door, tickets are $35 for a family, $15 general admission, $10 for senior citizens, and $7 for students.
The Grand Forks Master Chorale is a 35-45 person choir under the direction of Joshua Bronfman, who also serves as the UND director of chorale studies. The Master Chorale is accompanied by Sara Bloom.
