Faculty, administrative staff invited to participate in winter commencement UND faculty and administrative staff are encouraged to march in academic regalia in the winter commencement ceremonies Friday, Dec. 14. Two ceremonies will be held this year, and faculty and administrative staff are encouraged to participate in one or both events. The ceremony for all graduate degrees will begin at 10 a.m., and all undergraduate degrees will be awarded at the ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. Both events will be held in the Chester Fritz Auditorium. Faculty and administrators should assemble in the lower level of the Auditorium at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. University marshals will be on hand to direct participants to their places in the procession. Please contact the Office of Ceremonies and Special Events in the Vice President for Student and Outreach Services Office at 777-2724 by Wednesday, Dec. 12, or send an e-mail to terrimachart@mail.und.nodak.edu if you plan to participate so that the appropriate number of seats can be reserved. When responding, please make sure to indicate if you’ll be participating in one or both ceremonies.
