Dakota Science Center receives Community Partner Award

The Dakota Science Center has been awarded the Community Partner Award by the Center for Community Engagement. The award recognizes a nonprofit organization that has demonstrated an exemplary relationship with and support of one or more UND academic programs faculty, and students. The 2007 award was given to the Dakota Science Center for its collaboration with UND faculty and students on science-related learning projects, two summer science camps and other science-related projects. Supporters of the Dakota Science Center’s nomination noted that the Dakota Science Center has inspired parents and children in acquiring an interest in the field of science. -- Laura Munski, executive director, Dakota Science Center.
