More Essential Studies transition events to be held in spring semester To help successfully launch the new Essential Studies (ES) program, which will replace the current general education program, and which is set to begin in fall 2008 for incoming freshman, two campus-wide events are being planned for spring 2008. The first, to be held Friday, Feb. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m., will be a workshop focused on ES curriculum design. The second, an ES Summit, will be held Friday, April 11, with various events planned for most of the day.
