Pharmacology, Physiology and Therapeutics presents two seminars
Lori L. McMahon, associate professor at the University of Alabama, will present a seminar titled "Cholinergic Denervation, Sympathetic Sprouting, and Long-Term Depression at Hippocampal Synapses" at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the Clifford Haugen Lecture Hall, Room 1360, School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Harry "Chip" Davis, Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases, Schering-Plough Research Institute, Kenilworth, N.J., will present a seminar titled "Niemann-pick C1 like 1 (NPC1L1): Role in Cholesterol Absorption, Atherosclerosis, and Activity of Ezetimibe (ZetiaTM)" at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in Room 3933, School of Medicine.
These seminars are sponsored by the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence Pathophysiological Signaling in Neurodegenerative Disorders and the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology and Therapeutics.
