Technology Trends Forum: Second Life is Nov. 26 On Monday, Nov. 26, the Center for Instructional and Learning Technologies/ITSS will host its monthly Technology Trends Forum. The topic this month is "Second Life: What is it and Why Would I Want One?" Lori Swinney, Chad Bushy, Elizabeth Becker and Christine Crawford from CILT/ITSS will be presenting. There will also be a Second Life Guest Avatar from New Media Consortium. This forum will cover: *What is Second Life? *Who is using Second Life? *How is it being used in higher education? *Why should we use it at UND? The event will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, in the River Valley Room, Memorial Union. This forum is open to faculty, staff and students.
