Technology Trends Forum: Social Networking is Oct. 31 On Oct. 31, the Center for Instructional and Learning Technologies/Information Technology Systems and Services will host a Technology Trends Forum. John Osborne, marketing director of Meridian Environmental Technology, and Lori Swinney, Chad Bushy and Elizabeth Becker from CILT/ITSS will present information on Myspace, Facebook and Blackboard Expo. This forum will cover: * What are social networking sites? * How are students using Social networking sites? * How can social networking sites be utilized in higher education? * What is Blackboard Expo? The event will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the River Valley Room, Memorial Union. This forum is open to faculty, staff and students.
