Road closes for parking ramp The contractors are ready to begin the work on Second Ave. The road will be closed as soon as they are ready and will remain closed for approximately four weeks. In that time, they will finish the work along the South side of the site including the removal of the trees and part of the sidewalk on the North side of Hyslop Sports Center. Signage will be placed so North-bound traffic down Cornell St. will be eliminated. Traffic will have to detour South around Starcher Hall. Deliveries to the Memorial Union will still be able to go South on Cornell from Second Ave. -- Craig Swenson, Facilities.
