Midsummer writing retreat set for June 10 A midsummer writing retreat is scheduled for June 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Women's Center, 305 Hamline St. This intensive, one-day writing retreat is sure to generate new material for writers or jump start old projects. Kate Sweney and Kathy King will lead participants through a series of exercises and free writes. Participants are also encouraged to bring material they would like feedback on. Cost is $45.
