Remembering Bob Coulthart
Robert (Bob) Coulthart, retired maintenance specialist in facilities, died July 3 at his home in Grand Forks. He was 69.
Coulthart, the son of Walter and Edith Coulthart, was born March 24, 1938 in Grafton, N.D. He served in the Army for two years in Korea, then graduated from Molar Barber's School in Fargo, N.D. He also spent time as a painter and a beekeeper. He was well known for keeping a supply of ice cream treats around so he could spoil the appetite of any neighbor kids who stopped by to say hello.
Coulthart was a Meritorious Award recipient in 1998, an award that recognizes staff for excellence and dedication.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; his sons, Curtis (Wanda) Coulthart of West Virginia, Dennis Coulthart of Minnesota, Chad (Sarah) Coulthart of Colorado; daughter, Yvonne (Steve) Anderson of Minnesota; five grandchildren; brothers, Roger (Sharon) Coulthart of Minnesota, Donald (Linda) Coulthart of California, and Daryl (Beverly) Coulthart of Minnesota.
Funeral servies were held July 7 with burial in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks. Memorials are asked to be directed to Altru Hospice of Grand Forks. |
