Volunteers sought for spring commencement May 12 We invite you to serve as a “Green Vest" volunteer at UND’s spring commencement Saturday, May 12, at the Alerus Center. Volunteers assist by seating guests, helping organize graduates in the assembly room, and by greeting visitors. Commencement begins at 1:30 p.m. and all volunteers are asked to report to the Alerus Center Ballroom by noon. Most volunteers will be able to leave shortly after the ceremony begins, by approximately 2 p.m. We anticipate that commencement will conclude by about 4 p.m. Please contact the Office of Ceremonies and Special Events in the Vice President for Student and Outreach Services Office at 777-2724 or send an e-mail message to Terri Machart at terrimachart@mail.und.nodak.edu to let us know if you will be able to participate or if you have any questions.
