Doctoral examination set for Lata Balakrishnan The final examination for Lata Balakrishnan, a candidate for the Ph.D. degree with a major in biochemistry and molecular biology, is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, in Clifford Haugen Hall, School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The dissertation title is "Characterization of Histone Acetylation during SV40 Transcription." Barry Milavetz (biochemistry) is the committee chair.
