American Indian Research forum calls for posters Researchers, practitioners, and students are invited to submit poster abstracts for the fifth annual American Indian Research Forum to be held Thursday, April 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Memorial Union. Posters should feature current research activities concerning health risk and health promotion among Native American communities. Abstract topic examples include, but are not limited to: aging, AIDS, alcohol and substance abuse, alternative healing practices, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, environmental health, epidemiology, health promotion and disease prevention, health services research, injury prevention, maternal and children health, mental health, nutrition, oral health, women's health and traditional medicine. Deadline: must be received by 5 p.m. Thursday, March 1.
